Ahtari Vandan Yojana 2024 Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024 What is Mahtari Vandan Yojana, an amount of Rs 1000 will be provided per month under Mahtari Vandan Yojana. This scheme was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the objective of this Mahtari Vandan Yojana is to remove discrimination and inequality against women in the state, to bring continuous improvement in health and nutrition level, to promote economic self-reliance and empowerment and to increase their decision-making in the family. Through this scheme, every eligible woman will get Rs. 1000 during her eligibility period. The amount at the rate of Rs 1000/- per month will be paid into the applicant’s own Aadhaar linked DBT based bank account.

Such women who are getting Rs. 5 per month from various pension schemes under the Social Assistance Program and through the Social Welfare Department. If the pension amount is less than Rs. 1000/-, such eligible women will be sanctioned additional assistance of that amount, which will bring the total amount to Rs. Can get a monthly amount of Rs 1000/-.

Mahtari Vandan Yojana Eligibility

Married women eligible for Mahtari Vandan Yojana should be local residents of Chhattisgarh state.

The age of the married woman should not be less than 21 years on 01 January of the calendar year of application i.e. the year in which the application is being made.

Widow, divorced, abandoned women will also be eligible for the scheme.

For the female applicant to apply, it will be necessary to attach the following documents with the application.

Self attested passport size photograph.

Documents regarding local resident. (Residence Certificate/Ration Card/Voter ID Card).

Own and husband’s Aadhar card.

PAN card of self and husband. (if any)

Marriage certificate/certificate issued by Gram Panchayat and local bodies.

Death certificate of husband in case of widow.

In case of abandonment, certificate issued by the society/ward/gram panchayat.

Birth Certificate, Class 10th or 12th Marksheet/Transfer Certificate/PAN Card/Voter’s Identity Card/Driving License. (anyone)

Bank account details and photocopy of bank passbook of the eligible beneficiary.

Self-declaration form/affidavit. (attached to the application)

If there is a need for verification of the above mentioned documents submitted by the applicants along with the application, the applicant will have to appear in person at the mentioned places.
