The recruitment process for 9900 posts in the medical department will be started soon. Out of these, 1700 posts of doctors and 8200 posts of medical staff will be recruited. Medical and Health Minister Shri Parsadi Lal Meena has directed that about 1700 doctors and 8200 medical staff should be recruited soon. The Medical Minister was addressing the review meeting of the Medical and Health Department held at the Secretariat on Thursday. He said that the recruitment process should be completed as soon as possible after obtaining approval from the Finance Department for the recruitment of about 600 posts of Medical Officers to be vacant by promotion.

He said that advertisement has been issued by RUHS for the recruitment of 840 posts of Medical Officers approved earlier. he directed that the recruitment process should be completed at the earliest by issuing the recruitment approval of other 330 medical officers sent to the Finance Department. He also directed for early recruitment on 3200 posts of Nursing Officer, 1200 for Female Health Worker, 2000 for Pharmacist, 1000 for Lab Technician and Assistant Radiographer.
While reviewing RMSCL, the Medical Minister directed that under the Mukhyamantri Free Nirogi Rajasthan Yojna, all types of medicines are free of cost in all government medical institutions. He said that the availability of medicines should be ensured at every level and complaints of unavailability of medicines should not be received from anywhere.
While reviewing the Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme, the Medical Minister expressed happiness that in the recently organized Chiranjeevi Gram Sabhas, about 1 lakh 85 thousand new families have been registered under the scheme. It is worth mentioning that so far about 1 crore 35 lakh families have been registered under Chiranjeevi Yojana and about 90 percent families of the state are connected with this scheme. So far about 25 lakh people have benefited from the scheme. On which they have been given the benefit of free treatment by spending about Rs 2900 crore.

The Medical Minister directed Mission Director National Health Mission Shri Sudhir Sharma to fill up 9500 vacant contract based posts at the earliest. Expressing displeasure over the slow progress of opening the Janta Clinic, he directed that all the Janta Clinics should be started after completing all the recruitments in the next one month. Along with this, he also instructed to take special care of the quality of civil work of medical institutions.
During this, while reviewing the war campaign for Shuddh, he directed that strictest action should be taken against the adulterers and the quality of food items should be ensured.
During this, Government Secretary Medical and Health Department Dr. Prithvi, Chief Executive Officer of Rajasthan State Health Assurance Agency Smt. Aruna Rajoria, Managing Director of RMSCL Smt. Anupama Jorwal, Commissioner Food Safety and Drug Control Commissionerate Shri Sunil Sharma and concerned officers were present.
